Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has expressed strong disapproval of the sale of government-initiated Abhay Hastam application forms. Notably, the Congress government began accepting applications for the implementation of the six guarantees outlined in its election manifesto from December 28.
The Abhay Hastam program witnessed an overwhelming response from the public, leading to long queues at Prajapalana centers for application forms. Shortages of forms resulted in Xerox center owners selling them at prices ranging from Rs.50 to Rs.100.
In response to these incidents, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy convened a review meeting with senior officials to discuss the Abhay Hastam program. He expressed outrage over the sale of application forms and instructed officials to take strict action against those involved.

Existing beneficiaries will continue to receive benefits from welfare schemes, as stated by the Chief Minister.
