The ongoing war of words between leaders of Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and Karnataka Congress intensified on Wednesday, with Karnataka Minister Priyank Kharge entering the fray, sparking a robust response from K. T. Rama Rao.
In response, Kharge shared the complete video of Siddaramaiah's speech and emphasized the establishment of a government cell in Karnataka to combat misinformation and fake news.
KTR countered Kharge's attack by posting newspaper clippings and questioning the authenticity of statements from Congress leader Rahul Gandhi regarding employment for 2 lakh Karnataka youth and the Deputy CM's remarks on an empty treasury.

The BRS leader cautioned Kharge against being swayed by propaganda, highlighting their success against BJP in Telangana, including defeating all three of the party's MPs.
The feud escalated on Tuesday when KTR shared a video of Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah's statement, questioning the state's financial ability to fulfill poll promises. KTR speculated whether this would be the future norm for Telangana, accusing the Congress of misleading voters.
Siddaramaiah accused KTR of circulating a fake video and questioned the reason for his party's loss in the Telangana Elections. The Congress leader asserted that BJP created fake videos, and BRS circulated them, branding BRS as the BJP's "B team."
In response, the BRS working president attributed their election loss to Congress' false promises in Telangana. KTR listed unfulfilled Congress guarantees and sought an explanation for the party's losses in three other states.
The verbal sparring continues as both parties exchange accusations and challenge each other's credibility.
