Two youths arrested for sending threatening emails using Muslim names

Police have arrested two youth for threatening to bomb Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The threat was made on social media, prompting the UP police to investigate. After the inquiry, two individuals have been arrested, and they are currently being questioned.


According to reports, these individuals had posted threats on social media, saying they would bomb both the Ram Mandir and Yogi Adityanath. The investigating officers stated that the accused are now in custody.

A team from Uttar Pradesh's Special Task Force apprehended Teharsingh and Om Prakash Mishra in the Vibhuti Khand area of Gomti Nagar in Lucknow. The statement revealed that the two made threats against Adityanath, STF chief Amitabh Yash, and Ayodhya's Ram temple in a post on 'X' using the handle '@iDevendraOffice' back in November.

The police provided information that the threats were sent through email IDs 'alamansarikhan608@gmail.com' and 'zubairkhanisi199@gmail.com.' Upon investigation, authorities discovered that Teharsingh had created the email accounts, and Om Prakash Mishra had sent the threatening messages.

Both Singh and Mishra are from Gonda and work at a paramedical institute, according to the statement. The STF is currently conducting further investigations into the matter.
