Underground Drainage Work Initiates at Gunbazar Masjid Lane in Rasoolpura SCB Ward-2

In a significant development for the residents of Gunbazar Masjid Lane in Rasoolpura SCB Ward-2, the long-awaited 100-feet Underground Drainage (UGD) project has finally commenced. The initiation of this crucial infrastructure work comes after facing delays due to the Election Code, halting progress for eight months.

The project's revival owes much to the efforts of former Secunderabad Cantonment Board Ward 2 Ex-Board Member, Sada Keshav Reddy Anna. His dedication and insistence on prioritizing community welfare played a pivotal role in ensuring that the UGD work order, sanctioned eight months ago, was reinstated.

During the initial phases, the UGD work faced an unexpected setback as it coincided with the commencement of the Election Code. However, thanks to the relentless efforts of Sada Keshav Reddy Anna, the project is back on track, bringing relief to the residents who have eagerly awaited the improvement in drainage facilities.

Acknowledging the collaborative efforts, special appreciation goes to Secunderabad Cantonment Board CEO Madhukar Naik Sir, SCB Engineer Balakrishna Sir, and Assistant Engineer Aditya Sir. Their commitment to community development and infrastructure enhancement has been crucial in overcoming the obstacles that momentarily halted the project.

The commencement ceremony witnessed the active participation of SKR Team Members, including Jabbar Bhai and Ashok Anna, who are integral to the successful execution of the UGD project. Their dedication and coordination with local authorities have played a crucial role in ensuring that the work is progressing smoothly.

As the UGD work unfolds in Gunbazar Masjid Lane, the community can look forward to improved drainage facilities, fostering a healthier and more hygienic living environment. This project not only addresses a pressing need but also stands as a testament to the collaborative efforts of community leaders, government officials, and local residents in creating positive change.
