Fire Breaks Out at Ankora Hospital, Hyderabad

A major fire incident occurred in Mehdipatnam, Hyderabad, at Ankora Hospital on Saturday. The blaze, originating near Pillar No. 68 of the PVNR Expressway in Jyoti Nagar, brought fire brigade officials to the scene urgently.

The fire rapidly spread from the first floor to the 10th floor, causing panic as hospital staff worked to evacuate mostly pregnant women and children. While the cause of the fire remains undetermined, suspicions point towards a possible short circuit, especially as the hospital's name board, affixed with a flexi, caught fire.

With angels falling from above, firefighters and GHMC personnel, assisted by four fire engines, managed to bring the situation under control. South and East Zone police arrived to assess the aftermath, revealing that the hospital's hoardings were among the casualties of the fire.

The incident left everyone in a state of shock and uncertainty, emphasizing the need for further investigation to reveal the full details of the accident and prevent future occurrences.
