LB Nagar MLA Initiates Action Against Chemical Odor in Auto Nagar Industrial Estate

In response to the persistent issue of a chemical smell in the Auto Nagar Industrial Estate, LB Nagar MLA Devi Reddy Sudhir Reddy has vowed to take decisive measures against the responsible parties.

During a recent morning walk spanning areas like Humapuri Colony Phase 1, 2, Seven Hills Colony, DP Nagar, Dwarka Nagar, and Auto Nagar Dumping Yard, residents expressed concerns about the unpleasant odor. They appealed to the MLA for the establishment of new roads, UGD, transformers, and addressing the rampant dog population in the colonies.

This is not the first time the region has faced challenges related to chemical odors, as similar complaints were reported last year. MLA Sudhir Reddy assured residents that he would lodge complaints with the Pollution Control Board and ILA to address the issue effectively. In addition to tackling the chemical smell, vigilance will be heightened to prevent the dumping of animal carcasses in the Auto Nagar dumping yard.

Sudhir Reddy also announced the allocation of funds, amounting to Rs 7 crore, for the construction of a trunk line to manage floodwater downstream from the Auto Nagar Industrial Area. The initiative received support from local figures, including Jakedi Malareddy, Pochaboena Jagdesh Yadav, Balaraju, Sadagoni Jagdesh Gow, Margan Rajesh, Mohan Reddy, and others, emphasizing a collective effort to improve the community's living conditions.
