Xiaomi Unveils First Electric Vehicles: SU7 and SU7Max

 Xiaomi has officially entered the automotive sector by introducing its much-anticipated electric vehicles, XiaomiSU7 and XiaomiSU7Max. In a significant expansion beyond smartphones, Xiaomi envisions completing the Human x Car x Home smart ecosystem with the #XiaomiSU7 launch.

The company expresses its vision for the SU7 to accompany individuals on their journey towards achieving their dreams.

Performance-wise, the XiaomiSU7Max achieves a swift 0-100km/h in just 2.78 seconds, while the XiaomiSU7 accomplishes the same feat in 5.28 seconds. The top speed for SU7 is 210km/h, and for SU7Max, it reaches an impressive 265km/h.

Additionally, XiaomiSU7 will be offered in three distinct color variants: Aqua Blue, Mineral Gray, and Verdant Green. The EVs incorporate five core technologies—E-Motors, battery, HyperCasting, autonomous driving, and smart cabin.

Although the pricing details remain undisclosed, industry expectations suggest that the SU7 might fall within the range of 200,000 yuan to 300,000 yuan (approximately Rs 25 to 35 lakh). Sales for the SU7 are anticipated to commence next year, with production handled by a unit of the China-owned automaker BAIC Group in a Beijing factory with an annual capacity of 200,000 vehicles.
